I don’t know if I’ve learned enough to fully understand it all. But then again, was it ever about knowing everything before beginning to explore? I never set out to become an expert. I simply followed my curiosity, and that led me to a path I never expected—Vedic Astrology.
At first, it was just another way to expand my understanding of life, another lens to explore the infinite layers of existence. But soon, I realized something profound—there is no single answer to any question, no fixed solution to life’s complexities. Every path leads to more questions, every insight opens new doorways. And yet, despite this endless search, astrology itself seemed to rest on structured foundations—planets, zodiacs, Nakshatras—all categorized, all defined by their inherent nature.
Isn’t that what we always do? We create labels. We classify. We assign identities, strengths, weaknesses—limiting something vast and fluid into something finite and fixed. In astrology, just as in psychology, people are often placed into predefined boxes, their potential measured against general traits. But I never wanted to be another voice defining people by their identities. I wanted to help them go beyond—beyond assumptions, beyond limitations, beyond the usual narratives they’ve been told about who they are and who they can be.
A Destiny Written in the Stars… or Something More?
And then, there was this story—one that lingers in my mind, a living contradiction to predestined fate.
A child was born into a destiny already outlined in the stars. His chart spoke of separation—his mother, fragile in both mind and heart, would not be strong enough to keep him. His home life would be unstable, transient. It was written, clear as day: this boy was meant to grow up in foster care, detached from the embrace of a mother’s love.
And for a while, the stars seemed to be right. The day he was born, he was placed into the hands of another. But something else was at work—something no one could fully explain.
Another young boy had been praying. Praying, without knowing for whom, without knowing why. Praying for a sibling, for a companion, for a soul he could call his own. And when the newborn arrived, it was his hands that held him first.
From that moment on, the world did not move as expected.
The child, meant to grow up lost, never changed homes. His mother, who was supposed to be too weak, found unexpected strength. She settled, found joy, and redefied everything that had been predicted for her. And the child, whose chart was written in ink of struggle and detachment, instead found a family, found love, and remained.
When Fate Bends to Love
The chart had predicted difficulty, yet something unseen had stepped in. The very planetary force that had created his challenges was the same one that removed them—something rare, something unexplained, something most would not even notice at first glance.
If fate had decided this was his journey, then why did the very same force that set his path also erase its obstacles? Some would call it coincidence. Others would say it was simply another unseen alignment, a karmic twist.
But I cannot ignore the deeper truth. Perhaps destiny is not absolute. Perhaps prayers, love, and human will can outweigh even the most detailed charts. Perhaps fate does not decide for us—it only lays down possibilities. And in the space between the stars and the soul, something greater is at work.
It is said that even planets are not independent. That a force far beyond them moves them in their paths. And if even the planets are bound by something greater, then so are we.
But unlike them, we have something more. We have the power to choose, to love, to call upon something beyond predictions. We have the power to break the limits, rewrite the course, and find meaning beyond what is written. And perhaps, that is the real secret the universe whispers to us—that our greatest destiny is not the one we are given, but the one we create.
